The following Terms and Conditions apply to the “1 Minute to KL” Memory Game (herein referred to as the “Contest”):
1.In this Terms & Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:-
1. The Game features 10 Team Singapore athletes, who will be competing in the SEAG and APG, and their respective sports.
2. Participants will be required to match the 10 Team Singapore athletes to their respective sports.
3. The Top 20 Participants who successfully match all 10 Team Singapore athletes to their sports under one (1) minute will win a trip for two (2) to catch the SEAG live in Kuala Lumpur.
4. The Top 15 Participants who successfully match all 10 Team Singapore athletes to their sports under one (1) minute will win a trip for two (2) to catch the APG live in Kuala Lumpur.
5. Should a Participant win the prize for the SEAG period, he/she will not be eligible to win the prize for the APG period.
6. There are two (2) Contest periods, one for SEAG and one for APG:
7. A Participant will be eligible to enter the Contest upon successful completion of the Game.
8. If the Participant registers for participation, the Participant’s details that are required are as follows:
9. The Participant shall be responsible for providing accurate details of himself/herself. Failure to do so may result in disqualification of the Participant in the sole and absolute discretion of the Organiser.
10. The Content is open to all Singapore citizens and permanent residents residing in Singapore only.
11. The Organiser’s employees, their immediate family members and any related companies, vendors and/or partners will not be eligible to participate in the Contest.
12. The Contest is open to Participants above 13 years old. Entrants under the age of 18 are to obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian, who shall agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
13. The Organiser shall in its sole and absolute discretion determine the prizes available to be won for the Competition.
14. The prize structure for the Contest shall be as stated in the Contest Rules as set out in Schedule 2, and/or as may be announced on the Contest Website.
15. Winning Participants shall be determined in accordance with the Game Rules, as stated in Schedule 1.
16. The Organiser’s decision as to any matter relating to the Contest, including but not limited to any entry eligibility, the winning entries and the Winning Participants, shall be final and binding.
17. No correspondence will be entered into the Contest or the Organiser’s decisions.
18. Winning Participants will be notified by the Organiser, via an email which will be sent to the Participant’s email address, and listed on the Organiser’s Website, as the case may be.
19. All reasonable efforts shall be made by the Organiser to notify the Winning Participants.
20. If the Winning Participant fails to respond within 5 working days of the first notification attempt, the Winning Participant shall be deemed to have forfeited his/her right to claim the prize.
21. Successfully notified Winning Participants will be informed of the claim procedure and are required to claim their prize within 5 working days of being successfully notified (unless otherwise extended by the Organiser) (“Stipulated Claim Period”).
22. In order to qualify for payment of prize, the Winning Participant must produce proof of identity acceptable to the Organiser (e.g. identity card or passport), together with the printed prize notification upon prize collection.
23. Winning Participants will also be required to provide the following information upon claiming their prize:
24. The Organiser’s decision as to whether the Winning Participant has satisfied all the conditions in these terms and conditions shall be final, conclusive and binding on the Participants.
25. In the event that the particulars on the Winning Participant’s proof of identity differs from the records of the Organiser, the Organiser shall be entitled to uphold and treat the particulars in any of its records as the correct particulars for the purposes of payment of the prize, and the Participant shall be bound by the particulars contained in such record(s) of the Organizer.
26. In the event that any Participant is disqualified from the Draw, the Organiser may, in its sole and absolute discretion, decide whether a replacement Participant should be selected. In this event, any further Participant will be selected on the same criteria as the original Participant and will be subject to these Terms & Conditions herein.
27. Any prize not claimed within the Stipulated Claim Period shall be forfeited and dealt with by the Organiser in its sole and absolute discretion. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that he/she will have no entitlement to any prize not claimed within the Stipulated Claim Period.
28. All prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or other items and are subject to availability. The Organiser reserves the right to replace any prizes with items of similar value without prior notice.
29. No prize presentation will take place in person.
30. By participating in the Competition, the Participant expressly consents to the collection, use and disclosure by the Organiser, its employees, agents and/or service providers, of the Participant’s Personal Data, for the purposes of conducting and administering the Contest.
31. The Winning Participant hereby consents to the Organiser’s use of the Winning Participant’s Personal Data for publicity purposes, including (but not limited to) in the print, broadcast and online media, and the Winning Participant agrees and acknowledges that he will not receive any remuneration for such use.
32. The Winning Participant hereby consents to be contacted for interviews and to be and have his/her image and likeness featured on the Contest Website and other social media platforms, including (but not limited to) Facebook, and Instagram.
33. The Organiser will not be responsible for any Participant entering the Contest unlawfully or otherwise in breach of applicable local laws.
34. The Organiser shall not be liable in any manner in relation to any error or mistake made by the Participant in connection with the Game.
35. The Participant shall not hold the Organiser liable for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred by the Participant as a result of his/her participation in the Game and/or Contest.
36. The Organiser cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss of life, injury, loss of profit, opportunity or expectation, or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Contest or as a result of entering the Contest or accepting the prize. The Organiser is not responsible for any safe custody, return, non-delivery, late-delivery or loss of entries, technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, service providers or computer equipment, software failure in relation to any email or entry to be received, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, or for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone, related to or resulting from participation in the Contest.
37. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice. The Participant’s continued participation in the Contest shall be deemed to constitute the Participant’s acceptance of any changes to these Terms and Conditions.
38. Any Terms and Conditions amended relating to the collection, retention, use and/or sharing of Personal Data will be posted on the Organiser’s Website. It is the responsibility of the Participant to check these Terms and Conditions, and the Participant will be given the opportunity to opt-out of the new use(s) of such Personal Data, where applicable.
39. The Organiser has the right to disqualify, terminate and/or blacklist any Participant for the Contest and retract any prize at any time if it is of the opinion that there has been a breach of any of the Terms & Conditions by the Participant, regardless of the time of discovery of the breach.
